Judy Gold's Real-Life Judy Show Includes a Towed Car, Gym Visit, Meditation and Matinee

When Broadway.com sent photographer Jenny Anderson to spend the day with Judy Gold, co-author and star of the hit off-Broadway comedy The Judy Show, we had no idea she would end up tagging along as Gold retrieved a towed car at the NYPD impound, worked off her aggression on a treadmill and meditated (briefly!) before taking the stage at the DR2 Theatre. (How was your morning?) Displaying a characteristic lack of vanity, Gold allowed Jenny to capture all the highs and lows of her day, from oatmeal with son Ben to an argument with partner Elysa. It’s our most action-packed “day in the life” feature yet!
