With a slew of comedians heading to the Broadway stage this spring, Broadway.com asked which funny guy or gal's performance you're most anticipating. The votes are in, and Emmy winner Kathy Griffin proved to be the fan favorite, landing in first place with 34% of votes. The self-proclaimed "D-Lister" hopes to find herself as an awards season darling with her one-woman-show Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony. The show will run for eight performances only at the Belasco Theatre beginning March 11.
Readers are also eager for the circus to come to town with John Leguizamo's Ghetto Klown. The actor received 21% of votes for his latest Broadway solo show, which will reportedly chroncle his successful Hollywood career. Performances for Ghetto Klown begin February 21 at the Lyceum Theatre, with opening night set for March 22.
Roaring into third place comes Oscar winner Robin Williams with 17% of votes. While Williams has previously performed stand-up in Broadway theaters, he will make his acting debut in the new play Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.
