Broadway-bound comedienne Kathy Griffin rolled up her sleeves on March 8 and started shilling in front the Belasco Theatre, papering the street with “reviews” of her solo show Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony. Seeing as the show hasn’t started yet, Griffin's leaflets featured some choice words from such theater luminaries like American Idol judge Randy Jackson (“I thought it was a little pitchy, dog”), Ryan Seacrest (“A bit gay for me”) and tween pop idol Justin Bieber (“This show is past my bedtime.”) Write your own review when Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony starts its 10-show run on March 11. In the meantime, Kathy’s message is clear: Get in the mood for Griffin! Photo by Bruce Glikas for Broadway.com
