New York is once again rolling with the sound of rockabilly now that Million Dollar Quartet has moved into New World Stages. The retro tuner, about a fateful day in 1956 that got Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins into the same Memphis recording studio, reopened at its new off-Broadway home on July 28. Original cast members Eddie Clendening (Elvis Presley), Robert Britton Lyons (Carl Perkins) and Lance Guest (Johnny Cash) welcomed new additions like David Abeles (Jerry Lee Lewis) to the company of real-deal music talents. After their off-Broadway debut performance, the whole gang headed to Bowlmor Lanes to celebrate. Click on to join in this theatrical jam session!
