Eve Plumb, an original star of TV's The Brady Bunch, will play the title character in Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating & Marriage beginning October 7 at off-Broadway's Downstairs Cabaret Theater at Sofia's. Opening night is set for October 24. Sarah Saltzberg (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) co-wrote the show with producer Ken Davenport (Altar Boyz), who will also direct.
Plumb is best known for creating the role of middle sister Jan Brady on the beloved TV sitcom. Her other TV credits include All My Children, That 70s Show, The Love Boat and Fudge. Plumb has also performed with the L.A. comedy troupe the Groundlings.
Based on an advice book by Abigail Grotke, the comedy follows Miss Abigail, a sought-after relationship expert who helps celebrities with their chaotic love lives. Alongisde her sidekick, Paco, Miss Abigail travels across the world dispensing advice on dating.
