Aussies Unite! Tony Sheldon and Cast Welcome Olivia Newton-John to Priscilla Queen of the Desert

On December 6 the cast of the Australia-set musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert welcomed a certain audience member who knows all about life "down under" and musicals: Grease and Xanadu icon Olivia Newton-John! Priscilla's Australian leading man Tony Sheldon (who originated the role of Bernadette in the show's initial Sydney production) was excited to bring Newton-John backstage at the Palace Theatre after the performance. (Newton-John is even a longtime friend of Sheldon's aunt, Australian singer Helen Reddy.) Take a look below as this beloved star gets a taste of her native homeland, Broadway style!
