New York music lovers were in for a treat on February 8, when they welcomed Beatles tribute show Rain to the Great White Way for a second time this season. The show, which first bowed on Broadway last October at the Neil Simon Theatre, took part in a grand Broadway shuffle this winter before re-opening at the Brooks Atkinson. Part concert and part theater, Rain sets the mood with ‘60s film footage and television commercials, and four actor/musicians channeling John, Paul, George and Ringo to play the music of the Beatles live. Traveling through time from mop tops and skinny ties to bell bottoms and peace signs, the band covers songs from the Beatles' early days on The Ed Sullivan Show through later albums such as Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road and Let It Be. Click through for photos of this Rain reprise!
