Nothing spices up a chilly October evening like a visit from a red hot bombshell! Rock of Ages got just such a visit on October 19, when singer/songwriter Tori Amos stopped by to check out the show and chill out with the cast at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. She may be a darling of the 90s and beyond, but Amos knows a little something about writing a hit song; the lady behind albums like Little Earthquakes and Under the Pink has that whole badass-chick-at-a-piano thing down cold. After enjoying performances of tunes like Pat Benatar’s “Hit Me With Your Best Shot,” Twisted Sister’s “We’re Not Gonna Take It” and Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Amos and her signature red locks went backstage to hang with the cast, including its newest member, Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider.
