Rock of Ages Couple Constantine Maroulis and Angel Reed Welcomes Baby Girl

Broadway.com 2009 Star of the Year Constantine Maroulis and his Rock of Ages co-star Angel Reed welcomed a baby girl, Malena James, on December 23 at 11:06pm, according to People Magazine. The newborn weighed six pounds, 11 ounces and measured 19 inches long.

"Sometimes Christmas comes early and we're so lucky to get the greatest gift," Maroulis told People. "Angel and I are thrilled to welcome our perfect baby girl into the world today. Mom and baby are healthy and I couldn't be more excited to ring in 2011 this way."

American Idol finalist Maroulis, who was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance as Drew in Rock of Ages on Broadway, is currently headlining the show’s national tour. His other New York stage credits include The Wedding Singer on Broadway and Jacques Brel Is Alive and Well and Living in Paris off-Broadway. Reed, who was part of the Rock of Ages ensemble, has toured in Saturday Night Fever and appeared in regional productions of West Side Story, Chicago and Debbie Does Dallas.
