Broadway Buzz Makes Spider-Man a Must-See for Musical Fans

As Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark continues packing in audiences at the Foxwoods Theatre, Broadway.com asked readers what intrigues them most about the mega-musical. The results are in, and 25% of fans said that with all the buzz surrounding the show, they simply have to see it for themselves!

Following closely in second place came the show's leading lady, Tony nominee Jennifer Damiano: 24% of readers cite her performance in Next to Normal as their top reason for wanting to get caught in Spidey's web.

Third place went to the creative mind behind the mammoth project, Tony-winning director Julie Taymor. A total of 17% of fans said they want to see the show because they believe Taymor (who also directed Broadway's The Lion King and the film adaptation of Shakespeare's The Tempest) is a genius.
