Reeve Carney stays plenty busy saving New York City from super villains in Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark, but on August 26 Carney and his Broadway co-stars decided to salute some real life heroes. Carney and the cast headed to Brooklyn's Prospect Park to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2011 World Police and Fire Games. (More than 15,000 police officers and firefighters from 70 different countries are competing in 69 Olympic-style events over the course of 10 days.) Grammy winner Dave Matthews also participated in the kickoff concert and hung around with Carney and his Spidey crew afterward. Take a look at the event below!
