The sultry heat of New Orleans’ French Quarter will soon be transplanted to the Broadhurst Theatre, where a revival of Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer Prize-winning drama A Streetcar Named Desire begins performances on April 3. Broadway newcomer Blair Underwood is already heating up the rehearsal room as Stanley Kowalski, a working-class man who clashes with his Southern belle sister-in-law Blanche DuBois (Nicole Ari Parker, also in her Broadway debut).
