As we previously reported, the musical The Ark is hitting off-Broadway this fall. The show, starring Annie Golden as Eliza and Paul Harmon as Noah, will begin performances at 37 Arts on October 14. The show will inaugurate the complex's 399-seat Theater B.
The Ark features music by Michael McLean and book and lyrics by McLean and Kevin Kelly. The tuner takes a contemporary look at the classic story of Noah by showing us the history of his family. Living inside the now infamous floating community to escape a drowning world, this family shows that when facing the challenges of life, we're all in the same boat.
The Ark, directed and choreographed by Ray Roderick, is set to officially open on November 14. In addition to Golden and Harmon, Marie-France Arcilla, D.B Bonds, Justin Brill, Julie Foldesi, Carla J. Hargrove, Jacqueline Piro, Chuck Ragsdale and Rob Sutton will appear in the musical.
