Lincoln Center Theater’s highly anticipated production of War Horse made its official Broadway bow on April 14, bringing together a cast of 35 and an amazing array of puppets and projections to tell the story of the love between a boy and his horse and the bravery of cavalry soldiers and their mounts during World War I. After the opening night performance at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre, the company and guests headed to LCT’s sister theater, Avery Fisher Hall, to celebrate this epic show.
