Important Info
Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical is now in previews at the John Golden Theatre and will celebrate opening night on March 20, 2025. After receiving two extensions due to popular demand, the musical's limited run is now scheduled to end on August 18, 2025.
The musical takes place in 1943, just as the Allied Forces are on the ropes. Luckily, they’ve got a trick up their sleeve. Well, not up their sleeve, per se, but rather inside the pocket of a stolen corpse. Equal parts farce, thriller, and Ian Fleming-style spy caper (with an assist from Mr. Fleming himself), Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical tells the wildly improbable and hilarious true story of the covert operation that turned the tide of WWII.
Operation Mincemeat's Olivier Award-winning London run was so popular and successful that a dedicated group of fans known as the Mincefluencers emerged, and have since been supporting the musical both in London and here on Broadway. The loyal Mincefluencers have also been involved with various projects related to the mission that inspired the musical and love to attend performances together, dubbed Operations, dressing in cosplay and filling up the majority of the theater. Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical was welcomed to Broadway by a large contigent of Mincefluencers, who celebrated the cast with a five-minute standing ovation at curtain call and serenaded them with a rendition of the show's signature theme "Sail On, Boys" following the performance.

Meet the Cast!
The original London cast of Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical have traveled to New York City to star in the musical's Broadway premiere! All five cast members—David Cumming, Natasha Hodgson, Jak Malone, Zoë Roberts and Claire-Marie Hall—were honored with Olivier Award nominations for their performances, with Jak Malone taking home the Olivier for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical. And like Lin-Manuel Miranda in Hamilton before them, David Cumming, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts are pulling double duty as both writers of the musical and stars of it on stage.
