Broadway shows are playing and welcoming audiences to the theater.
Even if a particular show is suspended for a performance or some performances, there are many more shows which are indeed playing, safely and to the highest standards.

Safety is the priority
The owners and operators of all 41 Broadway theatres in New York City have extended the current mask requirement for audiences through at least May 31, 2022 , but many will no longer check vaccination status after April 30, 2022.
Stopping the spread
Guests are encouraged to use New York State's contact tracing app, COVID Alert NY, before attending performances, which alerts you when you are in close contact with anyone who has contracted COVID-19.
