Ruined Announces Final Extension at MTC

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced what is billed as a final extension for Lynn Nottage’s Ruined, winner of the 2009 Pulitzer Prize. The play will give its final performance on September 6 at New York City Center Stage I. A co-production between MTC and the Goodman Theatre, Ruined has now extended off-Broadway eight times will have given 22 previews and 238 regular performances upon closing. In addition to the Pulitzer, Ruined won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award and two Lucille Lortel Awards, plus OBIE Awards for cast members Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Russell G. Jones and a Theatre World Award for cast member Condola Rashad.
