The off-Broadway production of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town, directed by David Cromer, has extended through January 31, 2010 at the Barrow Street Theatre.
The revival, which opened in February, features Jeremy Beiler as Sam Craig, Rob Beitzel as Howie Newsome, Kati Brazda as Mrs. Webb, George Demas as Constable Warren, Donna Jay Fulks as Mrs. Soames, Jennifer Grace as Emily, Wilbur Edwin Henry as Professor Willard, Adam Hinkle as Joe Crowell, Jake Horowitz as Wally Webb, Ronete Levenson as Rebecca Gibbs, Ken Marks as Editor Webb, Jonathan Mastro as Simon Stimson, James McMenamin as George, Mark L. Montgomery as Doc Gibbs, Lori Myers as Mrs. Gibbs, Jay Russell as Joe Stoddard, Jason Yachanin as Si Crowell, and Cromer as the Stage Manager.
There had been talk of the production moving to Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theatre after the Tony-winning revival of The Norman Conquests ends its limited engagement there on July 26. No word on whether the off-Broadway extension affects future Broadway plans.
