Erin Mackey will make her Broadway debut in the role of Glinda in Wicked on August 11. Original player Michelle Federer will return to the hit musical as Nessarose on August 18 at the Gershwin Theatre.
In addition to appearing in the Chicago, Los Angeles and touring productions of Wicked, Mackey’s film and television credits include The Parent Trap, Do Over and Family Affair.
Federer’s stage credits include Three Days of Rain (standby for Julia Roberts), Boys Life, In The Absence of Spring, Anon, A Man of No Importance, The Glass Menagerie, The Trip to Bountiful, Compleate Female Stage Beauty, Closer and Hay Fever. Her film and television credits include Rachel Getting Married, Flannel Pajamas, Kinsey, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, All My Children and Wainy Days.
Mackey and Federer join a cast that includes Dee Roscioli as Elphaba, Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Kevin Kern as Fiyero, Alex Brightman as Boq and Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond.
