Hair Hippie Bryce Ryness is a New Daddy

Bryce Ryness, who plays Woof in the hit revival of Hair is a new daddy. Wife Meredith Ryness gave birth at 2:08am on September 4 to a 7 pound, 13 ounce girl, Mercy Jane Ryness. This is the couple’s first child.

In his July Fresh Face interview, Ryness predicted the baby’s sex: “We hypothesize that the baby is a girl because my brother has two girls, but we want to be surprised.”

Ryness met his future wife while attending the University of Southern California, and married her in 2005. Prior to Hair, he appeared in the Broadway musical Legally Blonde.
