2010 Tony Awards Ceremony Set for June 13

The American Theatre Wing’s 64th annual Tony Awards ceremony will be held on June 13 at Radio City Music Hall. The event will be telecast live in a three-hour ceremony on CBS-TV. The cut-off for nomination eligibility for the 2009-2010 Broadway season will be April 29, 2010.

The 2010 Tonys are presented jointly by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss/White Cherry Entertainment will return as executive producers. Together, Kirshner and Weiss have been the recipients of four Emmy Awards for their work on past Tony telecasts, most recently the Emmy in the Outstanding Special Class Program Category in 2008 for the 61st annual Tony Awards.
