Dame Edna Headed Back to Broadway in It's All About Me

Australia’s most beloved (and outspoken) “housewife,” Dame Edna Everage, is headed back to Broadway for the third time in It’s All About Me. A limited engagement will begin in early March at a Shubert theater to be announced. Four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, most recently represented on Broadway with the solo show A Bronx Tale, will direct.

Dame Edna is the lavender-haired comic creation of Melbourne-born actor and writer Barry Humphries, who has appeared on Broadway in Dame Edna: The Royal Tour (winner of a special Tony Award in 2000) and Dame Edna: Back with a Vengeance (nominated for a Best Special Theatrical Event Tony in 2005).
