Looks like there’s more to be Glee-ful about: EW.com reports that the Fox network “is on the verge” of announcing a full-season pickup for the new hour-long series. The show had received a 13-episode order but will add a so-called “back-nine” pickup, for a total of 22 episodes through spring 2010.
Glee stars Tony nominee Matthew Morrison as teacher-turned-Glee Club advisor Will Shuester and theater vet Lea Michele as star singer Rachel. Weekly episodes feature a bevy of stage stars in recurring and guest roles, including Victor Garber and Debra Monk as Morrison’s parents.
Now, how will we balance fall theatergoing with our weekly Wednesday night Glee fix?
