Hair star Gavin Creel has rallied the theater community as co-founder of Broadway Impact, an organization dedicated to marriage equality. On September 28, Creel joined with some very famous names at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency to publicize a new monthly cabaret show benefitting both Broadway Impact and the True Colors Fund (which works on GLBT issues). True Colors? Yep, it’s founded by none other than Cyndi Lauper, who hosted the first cabaret performance, with Broadway fave Stephanie J. Block and American Idol alum Melinda Doolittle as headliners. Take a look at the star power on display at Feinstein’s on a rainy Monday night.
