21st Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition

The 21st Annual Gypsy of the Year Competition at Broadway's Palace Theatre. The performance takes place at 4:30pm on the 7th and 2pm on the 8th. Proceeds from the event benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

One of the most loved industry events of the fall season, the Gypsy of the Year Competition pits Broadway and off-Broadway’s most talented “gypsies,” also known as chorus members, against one another in a show that’s one part competition, one part wild variety show. The event itself is the culmination of six weeks of fund raising for BC/EFA.
