Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman may have been dethroned by Johnny Depp as People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive 2009, but the beautiful stars of the hit TV series Glee also got a nod. Cory Monteith, Mark Salling and Matthew Morrison were highlighted in the issue proving what Broadway fans have known since forever: It's hard to resist a guy who can sing.
Monteith and Salling, both 27, and Morrison, 31, hit the Las Vegas strip for their studly photo shoot, appearing with Ocean's Eleven-style swagger in classic suits with skinny ties.
According to the article accompanying the photo, the Gleeful leading men took time to drop in on Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell's newest Vegas undertaking, Peepshow, currently featuring Hairspray alum Aubrey O'Day, Tarzan veteran Josh Strickland and Legally Blonde's Nick Kenkel. "It was just some beautiful women taking off their clothes," Morrison told People. "Never a bad thing in my book."
People's Sexiest man Alive began in 1985, bestowing the first honor on Mel Gibson.
