James Barbour brings his Holiday Concert back to New York for a week-long engagement. The festive evening takes place at Bill's 1890 Restaurant and Cafe.
The evening, directed by Constantine Kistopoulos, will feature a musically inspired reading of Clement Clarke Moore’s poem “The Night Before Christmas.” The scholar/philanthropist wrote the piece for his nine children in 1822 while they lived at 57 East 54th Street, the building which now houses the Café.
Barbour’s most recent Broadway credit was playing Sydney Carton in A Tale of Two Cities. His other Broadway credits include playing Billy Bigelow in Carousel, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Edward Fairfax Rochester in Jane Eyre, Officer Lockstock in Urinetown and Leon Czolgosz in Assassins.
