Elaine Stritch returns to Cafe Carlyle in her new one-woman show, Singin' Sondheim... One Song at a Time.
Stritch was an original cast member of Sondheim's 1971 masterpiece Company, which earned her one of four acting Tony nominations. She was also honored for Bus Stop in 1956, Sail Away in 1962 and A Delicate Balance in 1996. Stritch finally won a Best Special Theatrical Event Tony in 2002 for her acclaimed one-woman show Elaine Stritch At Liberty. She regularly appears on TV’s 30 Rock as the brash mother of Alec Baldwin’s character, earning an Emmy Award for the part in 2007.
