Kristin Chenoweth and Christina Applegate Appear on Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Special

Kristin Chenoweth and Christina Applegate join American Idol Carrie Underwood in her holiday special, Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Special. The two-hour program will air at 8pm on Fox.

Chenoweth and Applegate will perform alongside Underwood as a '60s inspired trio. The special will also feature Underwood performing songs from her upcoming album Play On, as well as holiday classics. Also set to appear are David Cook and Brad Paisley. Additional guests are to be announced.

Chenoweth is the Tony and Emmy Award-winning Broadway diva of such shows as Wicked, The Apple Tree, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Steel Pier. Applegate was a 2005 Tony Award nominee for her Broadway debut in Sweet Charity.
