Breathtaking actress Cate Blanchett is about to star on the New York stage in A Streetcar Named Desire at BAM, but she still found time cross the footlights to become an enthusiastic audience member at Broadway’s Race. The actress took in the November 24 performance of the new David Mamet play and then immediately headed backstage at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre to congratulate the cast and scribe/director.
