Finian’s Rainbow Revival to Go on the Record with New Cast Album

The cast of the Broadway revival of Finian’s Rainbow is set to go into the studio on December 7 to record a new Broadway cast album. The album, which is being produced by Tommy Krasker for PS Classics, will likely be released in early February.

Finian’s Rainbow features a captivating score that includes such familiar songs as “Old Devil Moon,” “How Are Things in Glocca Morra?,” “When I’m Not Near the Girl I Love (I Love the Girl I’m Near)” and “If This Isn’t Love.”

Leading the cast of the revival are Jim Norton as Finian, Cheyenne Jackson as Woody, Kate Baldwin as Sharon, Christopher Fitzgerald as Og and Chuck Cooper as Bill Rawkins. Also featured in the cast are Christopher Borger, Guy Davis, Alina Faye, Brian Reddy, David Schramm, Paige Simunovich, Terri White, William Youmans, Tanya Birl, Meggie Cansler, Bernard Dotson, Leslie Donna Flesner, Sara Jean Ford, Taylor Frey, Lisa Gadja, Kearran Giovanni, Tim Hartman, Laura Lim Jackson, Grasan Kingsberry, Kevin Ligon, Monica L. Patton, Joe Aaron Reid, Steve Schepis, Devin Richards, Rashidra Scott, Brian Sears, James Stovall, Elisa Van Duyne and Tyrick Wiltez Jones.
