Katie Rose Clarke will be the newest "good" girl to fly into megahit musical Wicked, taking over the role of Glinda beginning January 14, 2010. Also joining the cast is Broadway veteran Jenny Fellner, who joins the cast as Nessarose. Clarke and Fellner replace current cast members Erin Mackey and Michelle Federer, respectively, who will exit the show January 10.
Clarke and Fellner join current stars Dee Roscioli as Elphaba, Tony Award winner Rondi Reed as Madame Morrible, P.J. Benjamin as The Wizard, Kevin Kern as Fiyero, Alex Brightman as Boq and Timothy Britten Parker as Dr. Dillamond.
Clarke appeared on Broadway as Clara Johnson in The Light in the Piazza, a role she reprised on the show's first national tour. She played Glinda for nearly four years during Wicked's first national tour. Additional credits include Prayer for My Enemy at Long Wharf Theatre and Anything Goes at TUTS Houston.
Fellner most recently appeared off-Broadway in Roundabout Theatre Company's Tin Pan Alley Rag. Broadway credits include Pal Joey and Mamma Mia! Off-Broadway, she has been seen in Marcy in the Galaxy, The Devil's Disciple and in the national tour of All Shook Up.
