Tickets are now on sale for Manhattan Theatre Club's Broadway production of Donald Margulies’ Time Stands Still. The new play, starring three-time Academy Award nominee and two-time Emmy winner Laura Linney, begins performances at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on January 5, 2010. Opening night is set for January 28, directed by Daniel Sullivan.
Time Stands Still centers on Sarah and James, a photographer and journalist who have been together for nine years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. But when injuries force them to return home to New York, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life.
Laura Linney and Broadway vet Brian d'Arcy James star as Sarah and James. Also featured in the cast are Alicia Silverstone as Mandy and Eric Bogosian as Richard.
Time Stands Still will play a limited engagement through March 14, 2010.
