Soul legend Smokey Robinson put Broadway on his to-do list during a Christmas week outing to see David Mamet’s latest, Race. After taking in the play, the velvet-voiced crooner and his wife went backstage at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre to congratulate the four-person cast of James Spader, Kerry Washington, Richard Thomas and David Alan Grier.
