Jane Krakowski, the Tony Award-winning star of the TV comedy 30 Rock, is headed for the altar. “Jane Krakowski and Robert Godley are thrilled to announce that they are engaged to be married,” a rep for the show told Access Hollywood. “Mr. Godley proposed to Ms. Krakowski over the holidays.” No wedding date has been announced.
Godley, the dashing British-born designer of the men’s fashion line Psycho Bunny, has been photographed with Krakowski since they began dating more than a year ago, most recently as her escort at the Kennedy Center Honors. “She is very much in love, and very, very happy,” a friend of the actress was quoted as saying.
Krakowski received a 2009 Emmy nomination for her role as Jenna Maroney on 30 Rock. She won a Tony for playing Carla in the Broadway revival of Nine and London’s Olivier Award for playing Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. A Tony nominee for Grand Hotel, she has appeared on Broadway in Company, Once Upon a Mattress, Tartuffe and Starlight Express and starred in the 2008 Encores! summer production of Damn Yankees. TV and film credits include a Golden Globe-nominated performance in Ally McBeal, Alfie and Kit Kittredge: All-American Girl. She headlined at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency last fall in the cabaret show Jane Krakowski Sells Out…Tickets Available.
