Tickets Now On Sale for Sondheim on Sondheim

Tickets are now available for Roundabout Theater Company's forthcoming Broadway premiere of Sondheim on Sondheim. This musical celebration of composer Stephen Sondheim, conceived and directed by his frequent collaborator James Lapine, begins previews at Studio 54 on March 19. Opening night is set for April 22.

A multigenerational cast led by the legendary Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams and Tom Wopat will offer an intimate portrait of Sondheim, who celebrates his 80th birthday on March 22. Using his own words and music, including exclusive interview footage, Sondheim on Sondheim will give audiences an inside look at his personal life and artistic process. The show will include performances of more than two dozen Sondheim tunes, ranging from the beloved to the obscure, in new arrangements.

In addition to Cook, Williams and Wopat, the cast of Sondheim on Sondheim will include Leslie Kritzer, Erin Mackey, Norm Lewis, Euan Morton and Matthew Scott.
