Whoopi Goldberg Feels the Love on Stage at The Lion King

Audience members at the smash-hit musical The Lion King were in for a special treat on January 14 at the Minskoff Theatre. Whoopi Goldberg, the multi-award-winning performer and host of TV gabfest The View, made a series of cameo appearances in the show. Of course, this is not Whoopi’s first experience with Pride Rock: the performer originated the voice of Shenzi the Hyena in the 1994 Disney animated feature of The Lion King. We caught up with Whoopi (in full Rafiki costume and makeup!) at the curtain call. Take a look!
