Tickets are now available for the 50th anniversary production of The Miracle Worker. Oscar nominee Abigail Breslin and Tony nominee Alison Pill star in the revival of William Gibson’s beloved drama, directed by Kate Whoriskey. Performances begin at the Circle in the Square Theatre on February 12, with opening night set for March 3.
Set in Alabama in the 1880s, The Miracle Worker tells the inspiring story of Keller (Breslin), the blind and deaf girl who drew up to win the Medal of Freedom. After losing her sight and hearing at 19 months, Keller developed a deep bond with Annie Sullivan (Pill), the extraordinary teacher who taught her to communicate with the world.
Joining Breslin and Pill in the cast of this eagerly awaited revival are Matthew Modine (Captain Keller), Jennifer Morrison (Kate Keller), Elizabeth Franz (Aunt Ev), Tobias Segal (James), Daniel Oreskes (Doctor/Anagos), Michael Cummings (Percy), Simone Joy Jones (Martha), Yvette Ganier (Viney) and Lance Chantiles-Wertz (Jimmie).
If you loved the classic movie version of The Miracle Worker, you won't want to miss this rare opportunity to see the drama of Helen Keller's life unfold on the Broadway stage.
