As celebrities step up their efforts to assist the victims of the devastating earthquake in Haiti, Scarlett Johansson has come up with a unique idea for raising money: She’s set up an eBay auction for four opening night tickets to the Broadway revival of A View from the Bridge, in which she co-stars with Liev Schreiber. The play is set to open on January 24 at the Cort Theatre. All proceeds from Johansson’s auction will go to Oxfam America’s Haitian Relief Fund.
According to Access Hollywood.com, the winner of the charity auction and three guests will not only attend the performance, they’ll be invited to mingle with Johansson at the opening night party.
Oxfam America is an international relief and development organization working with individuals and local groups in more than 120 countries to save lives, help overcome poverty, and fight for social justice.
