Tony winner Sutton Foster is ready to sweep the nation. The Broadway fave is taking her show on the road with a national tour of An Evening with Sutton Foster, which will feature a selection of Broadway numbers as well as songs from her debut album Wish. The tour will launch at the Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis, Missouri on February 4 before heading to other cities.
Foster received the Tony, Outer Critics, Drama Desk and Astaire Awards for her performance in Thoroughly Modern Millie. She was been nominated for Tony and Drama Desk Awards for Shrek (for which she won an Outer Critics Award), as well as The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. Her other Broadway credits include Young Frankenstein, Les Miserables, Annie, Scarlet Pimpernel and Grease!. She will star in Anyone Can Whistle at Encores! in Apri.
In addition to St. Louis, An Evening with Sutton Foster will play the Hanna Theatre in Cleveland, Ohio on February 6, Bay Area Cabaret in San Francisco, California on February 14, the Naples Philharmonic Center in Naples, Florida on February 26 and the McGlohon Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 20.
