Nominations for the 2010 Laurence Olivier Awards, the U.K.’s highest theatrical honor, are marked by Broadway transfers and big names. Tony-winning musical Spring Awakening is among the most-nominated shows (with seven), while other notable nominees include high-profile stars such as Keira Knightley, Jude Law, Rachel Weisz and James Earl Jones, as well as two new plays (Enron and Red) poised to cross the pond this spring. Though snubs can be hard to pinpoint with such far-reaching categories, the exclusion of the popular production of Waiting for Godot, starring Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart (who was replaced by Roger Rees when the show reopened), is noticeable. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on March 21 at Grosvenor House in London.
