What character from a Broadway show (past or present) could you fall in love with and why?
I recently saw Ragtime and fell in love with the show! As far as characters, I think I could fall in love with [Ragtime's central character] Coalhouse Walker. He was really trying to change his circumstances and being so positive in the face of such hatred, and I always root for the underdog. The way he would go to [Sarah]'s house and play the piano, and she wouldn't even talk to him? That was very romantic! And I don't want to give too much plot away, but in the end, when he started to trust again after everything he had been through? Ugh, it killed me. I for sure love Coalhouse!
