Sondheim on Sondheim Starts Previews

The musical celebration of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, Sondheim on Sondheim, begins previews at Broadway's Studio 54. James Lapine directs a multigenerational cast that includes Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Tom Wopat and Leslie Kritzer.

Using his own words and music, including exclusive interview footage, Sondheim on Sondheim will give audiences an inside look at his personal life and artistic process. The show will include performances of more than two dozen Sondheim tunes, ranging from the beloved to the obscure, in new arrangements.
