Hollywood’s biggest night is around the corner. As your average, everyday awards nuts, we’ve been handicapping the Oscars since the day the nominees were announced. But even when we’re in full film buff mode, Broadway is never far from our minds. So while waiting for the glitz and glamour of Oscar night, we started wondering: Which of the 10 Best Picture nominees would make it as a musical? The category offers everything from epic sci-fi to full-tilt war drama to coming-of-age heartbreak and beyond. The winners will be announced on March 7, which gives us all plenty of time to plan our Oscar party menus (The Hurt Locker hummus?
