Current Race stars David Alan Grier and Richard Thomas will be among the talents performing as part of Light for Haiti, a benefit night of song, dance and spoken word to raise funds for the earthquake-striken nation. The one-night-only performance will take place February 28 at The Canal Room in New York City.
Grier and Thomas join a line up of actors, musicians, dancers and poets which includes Janine Divita, Michael Lanning, Elizabeth Devlin, comedian Eddie Brill, Scott Alan, Tommy Newman, Jennifer Corey, Leigh-Taylor Smith, Chris Critelli, Ashley Becker, Saretta Wesley, Pearl Rhein, Dee Dee Batteast, Katherine Berhardt, Stephanie Mas, Sheena DiMatteo, Jillian Schiralli, Matthew S. Preston, Lauren Thomas, Julia Richter, Ashley Peter, musicians Limbsakimbo and the dance group BlackGold.
Light for Haiti benefits the GHESKIO Medical Center in Port Au Prince, Haiti, which has been working to establish refugee camps and field hospitals to support thousands of eatherquake survivors.
