Be Italian! Dominic Nolfi's Dressing Room Channels a Jersey Boys Vibe

“I inherited this room from Christian Hoff,” Jersey Boys star Dominic Nolfi says of his spic-and-span space in the August Wilson Theatre. “He left me good vibes and a bunch of good memories, and I thank him for that.” Nolfi plays bad-boy Four Season Tommy DeVito in the smash-hit musical, but in real life, the San Francisco-born actor is a down-to-earth newlywed (to actress Sonia Iannetti, associate choreographer of Paper Mill Playhouse's forthcoming revival of Smokey Joe’s Cafe). "This is my wife and me and our priest at our wedding rehearsal dinner in California. Our expressions are sort of like ‘Here we go—no turning back now!’ The priest is playing along with the vibe; he’s a family friend with a good sense of humor."

"A fan gave me this photo that she took of Tommy DeVito in 1966. There’s [fellow Four Season] Bob Gaudio, and Frankie [Valli] is behind Tommy. When Tommy saw me in the show, I had him sign the picture. He’s a super-cool guy. He called me on Christmas Eve and wished me a Merry Christmas!”

"This is Ash, the character I played in Pokemon Live, and his sidekick Pikachu. It was my first show in New York, and I did it with many Broadway alumni. I won’t name names, but they know who they are! It's just a little reminder of where I came from."

This is the view from the deck in the house I grew up in. It’s in Pacifica, California, 15 minutes south of San Francisco on Highway 1. It reminds me of sunshine and good California weather—even though I’m now a Jersey boy.”
