Tickets for Lucy Prebble’s acclaimed play Enron are now on sale. Directed by Rupert Goold, the production begins performances at the Broadhurst Theatre on April 8 with opening night set for April 27, 2010.
Inspired by real-life events and using music, dance and video, Enron explores one of the most infamous scandals in financial history. Many of the play’s characters are based on real-life former employees of the defunct energy company.
This multimedia theatrical event stars Norbert Leo Butz as Jeffrey Skilling, Stephen Kunken as Andy Fastow, Gregory Itzin as Kenneth Lay and Marin Mazzie as Claudia Roe. The show also features Noah Weisberg, Rightor Doyle, Ian Kahn, January LaVoy, Jordan Ballard, Brandon J. Dirden, Anthony Holds, Ty Jones, Tom Nelis, Jeff Skowron, Lusia Strus, Ben Hartley, Ellyn Marie Marsh, Mary Stewart Sullivan and Madisyn Shipman.
Enron comes to Broadway following a successful run in London, where it was nominated for a 2010 Olivier Award for Best Play. It features scenic and costume design by Anthony Ward, lighting by Mark Henderson, music and sound by Adam Cork, video and projection by Jon Driscoll and choreography by Scott Ambler.
