Mario Lopez and Former Chorus Line Co-Star Courtney Mazza to Welcome a Broadway Baby

Mario Lopez is about to turn his 2008 Broadway debut in A Chorus Line into one truly singular sensation: a bouncing bundle of joy. The Extra host, age 36, confirmed to People magazine on March 11 that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Courtney Mazza, 28, whom he began dating during their shared Broadway run. (He played Zach; she was a swing and understudied three roles.)

"I'm really excited. I'm happy," Lopez told People. "I can't wait to be a dad." The child, expected this fall, will be the first for both Lopez and Mazza.

In addition to A Chorus Line, Mazza has also appeared on Broadway in The Little Mermaid and Cry-Baby.
