The Broadway musical variety show All About Me, starring Dame Edna Everage and Michael Feinstein, will close on April 4 after 27 previews and 20 regular performances. The show began previews at Henry Miller’s Theatre on February 19 and opened on March 18, directed by Casey Nicholaw. Written by Christopher Durang, Barry Humphries (a.k.a. Dame Edna) and Feinstein, All About Me was conceived by Feinstein and Humphries, with Lizzie Spender and Terrence Flannery. The show also featured Gregory Butler, Jodi Capeless and Jon-Paul Mateo.
A mix of cabaret (from Feinstein) and comedy (from Dame Edna) with a big-band at the back of the stage, All About Me played to 40.94% of capacity for the week ending March 28 and grossed $216,425.
