Jeff Daniels, currently starring on Broadway in God of Carnage, stops by Late Night to chat with Jimmy Fallon. The show airs at 12:35am on NBC.
Daniels played Alan in the original cast of God of Carnage, for which he received a Tony nomination. He re-joined the cast to play the role of Michael, originated by James Gandolfini. In addition to God of Carnage, Daniels appeared on Broadway in Fifth of July (Drama Desk Award), The Golden Age and Redwood Curtain. His off-Broadway work includes Johnny Got His Gun, Lemon Sky and Blackbird. Daniels, who is the founder and executive director of Michigan’s Purple Rose Theatre Company as well as a playwright, singer and songwriter, is best known for appearing in over 50 films, including The Squid And The Whale, Something Wild, The Purple Rose Of Cairo, Gettysburg, Pleasantville, Terms Of Endearment, The Hours, Dumb And Dumber, Fly Away Home and The Answer Man.
